Company 1C-Rarus has completed the automation of the subsidiary of French company Coty in Russia — JSC Coty Beauty. Based on 1C: Enterprise 8, created system provides accounting by international standards, supporting communications with information systems of head office and a partner company. Leaders received tool for operative analysis of financial activity effectiveness, costs optimization, relationships with suppliers and customers monitoring. 30 workplaces have been automated.

JSC Coty Beauty, created in Russia in 2009 — legal person of the group of companies Coty Inc, founded in Paris in 1904. Today, Coty Inc — is a recognized global market leader in the perfume and cosmetic products. Annual sales are about $ 4 billion.

Marina Rusakova, chief accountant of Coty Beauty company, point out:
Since opening, our company needed a modern information system which would allows to automate contours of accounting and control trade processes in the organization. For us it was important that the system reflects specifics of our business — wholesale trade through partner-company.

The information system was to solve following tasks:

• conducting bookkeeping, operative and international accounting;
• two-way on-line integration with partner-company’s operational system;
• generating reports for loading into corporate financial system of headquarters.

As basis of such system company Coty Beauty has selected software 1C:Trade Management 8 and 1C:Accounting 8.

About how a partner for automation was chosen, says Marina Rusakova:
For automation, we turned to the IC 1C-Rarus because of company’s long and successful experience in implementing similar projects in field of trade. The specialists of 1C-Rarus in a few months have implemented selected software and made configuration in accordance with required specific business processes of our organization.

Currently, 1C software implemented by specialists of 1C-Rarus in the JSC Coty Beauty is used for 30 jobs.
During the project following sites were automated:

• Bookkeeping;
• Sales department (sales planning, sales process, analysis of customer orders);
• Logistics department (expected income management, receiving of reports on commission service, the management of stock’s reserves and fund balances);
• Marketing department (thanks to advanced settings it’s possible to conduct trade-marketing budget by direct distributors or perfumery and cosmetics networks);
• Financial department (international standards for accounting, financial reporting, additional analytical reports).

Marina Rusakova sharing opinion on results of the project:
Thanks to conducted automation, we and our foreign colleagues were able to gather necessary operational information for financial analysis and performance evaluation of JSC Coty Beauty.
Data from the partner-company’s system authentically reflected in the 1C: Enterprise 8, which also conducts an accounting and international accounting. Information processing is automatic. That excludes the possibility of errors and human factor. Now we can analyze the financial and economic activities by necessary parameters. This allows us to optimize costs, control relationships with suppliers and customers. We get a flexible, detailed reporting, which allows to evaluate effectiveness by various dimensions, to make correct management decisions. This, ultimately, providescompany's competitiveness.
