The core business of SAYBOLT (it is called Petroleum Analysts in Russia) is to control the quality and quantity of exported and imported products (primarily, oil and refined products). SAYBOLT is a member of such international institutions as International Organization for Standardization (ISO), American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM), London Institute of Petroleum (IP) and many others.

We hereby confirm that 1C:Enterprise 8 was successfully deployed and used in the company. The total number of automated workplaces is 50. And up to 30 users can work in the system simultaneously. We recommend all companies to use this software to automate all processes of financial accounting according to the standards of the Russian legislation as well as international standards, in particular US GAAP. 1C-Rarus is also recommended as a company that employs experts who are ready to conduct complex projects on customization and deployment of IT system based on 1C:Enterprise 8.

Our choice of 1C:Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 and 1C:Accounting 8 was influenced by the following possibilities the system provides:

• accounting of several organizations and branches in the unified database;
• customization of accounting according to the standards of the Russian legislation and international standards as US GAAP;
• automated accounting of fixed and intangible assets;
• keeping of a cash-book, purchase and sales ledgers;
• automated preparation of regulated statements.

During the process of customization and deployment some ideas which were realized on the base of 1C:Corporate Finance management 8 were taken as a basis.

According to the international accounting standards, some useful possibilities were realized. Now we can monitor any changes that take place in the Russian financial accounting standards and show them in real time in US GAAP. Requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and audit trial are also implemented.

The significant adaptation of the software solution according to our specificity of accounting was realized. Staff training was also provided.
