The Trading House ‘Kama’, founded almost 15 years ago, belongs to the petrochemical complex ‘TATANEFT’ and is a general distributor of tires under Kama and Kama EURO brands. Currently the Trading House delivers the tire products to the largest Russian and foreign car manufacturers, such as AvtoVaz, KamAz, GAZ Group, Volkswagen Group Rus, NefAZ, Izh-Auto, MZ ‘Tonar’, Asia-Auto (Kazakhstan). Its dealership network includes 58 companies being engaged in wholesale and retail trade in Russia and abroad.

The official dealer of TATNEFT’ tire products has moved from the wholesale tire products distribution strategy to their massive promotion to the end user. Marketing development and increased number of sales have raised a load on the enterprise departments being engaged in application receipt and processing.  The Trading House ‘Kama’ sells over 200 stock items produced by 4 manufacturing enterprises. The manual application processing took significant amount of time. This did not allow the enterprise to manage the extra load without staff increase. What is more, it was necessary to extend the planning horizon, to tie sales plans with production plans and to create a possibility to correct these plans efficiently. Kama’s management has made a decision to automate work of sales departments in the unified information space with the company’s manufacturing enterprises.

For the purpose of this project, 1C-Rarus Company was invited. 1C-Rarus specialists from the Kazan Office have a long-term productive and successful collaboration with JSC TATNEFT. Within the project the company management made a decision to develop an automated system consisted of two functional blocks — an application platform (a website) based on 1C-Bitrix: Site Management and a center of application processing based on 1C:Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 that is successfully used at Kama.

Creation of the unified application platform made possible to reduce the influence of dealer’s geographic remoteness from distributors. Customers themselves fill in application forms online using both Russian and English interface, then the application form is automatically loaded into the company’s automated system 1C:Manufacturing Enterprise management 8. According to the application data, the system distributes automatically the existing quantity of goods for customers. If there are not enough goods at warehouses, the system allows you to place an order for production. Thus, the enterprise has expanded the planning horizon. Experts of Sales Department and other departments plan the amount of production both in real-time and in a long-time modes based on the production load.  In addition to daily applications for immediate processing, planned (monthly, quarterly and annual) applications for production and sales planning are created. As a result of the software use, the quality of service rendered to customers from Russia, CIS and far abroad countries has been improved. Work of the application platform in the 24/7 mode and the reflection of the application placed on the site, allows you to interact with customers without the influence of their geographic remoteness and time zone differences. The time from the application submission to the shipment of goods has been reduced by more than twofold.
